WILMOT, WI (12/9/2021) – The AMSOIL INC. USAC Racing National Sprint Cars will make their historic return in over 10 years to Wilmot Raceway. The featured event is scheduled for June 25th, 2022. The last time the USAC National Sprint cars visited Wilmot Raceway was June 2012. Jon Stanbrough from Brownsburg, IN was the feature winner that evening. The Kenosha County Fair's Wilmot Raceway is releasing their TENTATIVE 2022 schedule. Please note, we are still working on a few things, so there are a few dates that may be subject to change, but we wanted to release this as there are a few non-Saturday's so teams can plan accordingly. 3/5/22: Wilmot Raceway held our annual awards banquet this past Saturday at the Parkway Chateau located in Kenosha, WI. As always this was a well attended event from all of our weekly points classes. The top 5 in points for all weekly classes (WingLESS Sprints, Modifieds, Lightning Sprints, Street Stocks and Bandits) were each presented with trophies and awards. Unified Dirt Street Stock Tracks across Wisconsin and Upper Michigan came together a number of years ago and created the common rules package we know as the Unified Dirt Street Stock rules package. Now those tracks have formalized that into a sanctioning agreement that all member tracks abide and uphold those rules.
