We regret to inform everyone the difficult and unwanted decision to cancel tonight's races at Wilmot Raceway has been made. The combination of poor weather outlook, already saturated grounds, cool temperatures, fuel prices and tire difficulties are the contributing factors to this decision. We hope to see everyone next week for the IRA / MOWA co-sanctioned show at Fairbury Speedway. This is truly one of the nicest and friendliest facilities in the country. 27 of the best of the Upper Midwest checked in to battle at the Kenosha County Fairgrounds at Wilmot Raceway. The teams were eager to finally take to the track as all other previous scheduled Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprint Car had been rained out. Along with the 410 Sprint cars, they were joined by 42 Wisconsin Wingless Sprints, and 20 IRA Lightning Sprints. The AutoMeter / Brewington Electric Wisconsin wingLESS Sprint Series has a pair of races this weekend, July 30-31. Saturday has the largest member supported car count per event series running at their home track, Wilmot Raceway.
