Win Number Two Comes for Cox at Wilmot
Tim Cox of Park City, Illinois became the third different 20-lap Interstates Racing Association (IRA) wingLESS Sprints feature winner at Wilmot this season. Leading wire to wire Cox held off repeated challenges from Derek Crane of Waukegan, Illinois who finished second and Doug Schenck of Cottage Grove who was third. Schenck earlier set a new track qualifying record of :15.070 seconds for the one-third mile clay oval.
