We regret to inform everyone the difficult and unwanted decision to cancel tonight's races at Wilmot Raceway has been made. The combination of poor weather outlook, already saturated grounds, cool temperatures, fuel prices and tire difficulties are the contributing factors to this decision. The biggest Wisconsin sprint car weekend of the year is fast approaching, May 20-22, as the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series welcomes the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions for a traditional co-sanctioned tripleheader sprintacular. The IRA began 53 years ago at the Wilmot Raceway, so this Saturday night, Aug 8th is IRA Founders Night at Wilmot Raceway featuring the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series. Joining the 410 winged rockets will be IRA’s AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints presented by Brewington Electric, the IRA Lightning Sprints, and Modifieds too. Warmups are at 5:45 followed by 410 qualifying, with racing to follow.

31 winged 410 sprint cars were on hand for the Roger Iles tribute race on Saturday night of the Kenosha County Fair. Scotty Thiel set quick time over Joey Moughan and Bill Balog. Former Wilmot Raceway track champion Todd Daun was fourth quick with Scott Biertzer in fifth. Heat race number one saw Scotty Thiel quickly move from fourth to second behind Ben Schmidt.
