A 41-year-old, the second generation driver (Dad-Scott Crowbridge still competes) enjoys racing having been involved for 23 years including racing go-carts.
Frequently traveling with his wife and son, who is often seen on Dad’s Facebook page working on the car, Joel has been known to race at various tracks around the Midwest.
Race preparation involves car maintenance, typically done on Mondays and Tuesdays. Joel saw the Wilmot championship as fulfilling a long-time dream. “Beating Steve Mueller by just 3 points made the title even more rewarding as he is a class competitor who had a really successful season himself,” said Joel.
The overall performance for the year was positive, with Joel’s worst finish being fifth place, and most races ending in second or third.
Outside of racing, he enjoys snowboarding and camping, though he admits he does not compete in snowboarding.
