This Saturday night Wilmot Raceway will host one of their biggest events of the season as Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaws Sprint Series and the UNOH All-Star Circuit of Champions collide in a co-sanctionded duel. A solid car count is expected for this 2nd annual event at Wilmot. Pit gates open at 3, spectator gates at 5, with on track activity to begin at 6. Joining in the fun will be Wilmots’ Modifieds and Mini Sprints. The IRA and Wilmot contingent will be led by 5-time IRA Champ and July 6th IRA Wilmot winner Bill Balog. Balog was a closing 3rd in this event last year. 2012 Wilmot track champ Mike Kertscher picked up the IRA Wilmot win back in May, and multi-time Wilmot track champ Tommy Sexton are both certain to play factors in this event as is past 2-time IRA king Scotty Neitzel. The All-Stars will be led by past Eldora Kings Royal winner “The Buckeye Bullet” Dale Blaney, and “The Steel City Outlaw” Tim Shaffer who is a mutli-time All-Star Champ and Knoxville Nationals winner. The dynamic pair ran 1-2 in the inaugural event last year. PA youngster Danny Holtgraver should be added as a definite contender as he has scored numerous impressive wins the past few years, including a big win at Attica (OH) earlier this season. Come feel the THUNDER of one of the biggest Sprint Car events of the season anywhere, and it’s this Saturday night at the Wilmot Raceway.
