This Saturday Night, July 6th, the summer goes into full swing as the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series headlines a big night of racing at Wilmot. Joining the IRA will be the Don’s Auto & Machine Modifieds, the R.A. Adams Ent / Advance Auto Parts Street Stocks, and the Massive speed / Hawg Heaven 4’s. The weather forecast looks great for SATURDAY! There were plenty of fireworks when IRA visited last on May 25th, and Wilmot’s design creates a ton of action. Wilmot’s regular classes are coming off a very entertaining night themselves as last Saturday night’s action was awesome, with lots of green flag action and some outstanding finishes. Come heat up the Summer with us at the Wilmot Raceway this Saturday Night!
Saturday June 29th on a ultrafast track, Wilmot Raceway hosted a Family Night program. The track staff did a great job fighting through what Mother Nature had dropped on the surface the past week, and their hard work provided a great night of racing action.
Jason Hyerdall topped the Don’s Auto & Machine Modified feature. Hyerdall and Chris Carlson put on a race long duel. Carlson made a big last corner move to try and take the top spot, though he allowed himself to be overtaken by Joel Crowbridge in the process. The mostly green affair had Crowbridge, Carlson, Steve Mueller, and Nick Simons trailing the fleet Hyerdall at the finish. A solid 22 car field was on hand with heat race wins going to Carlson, Hyerdall, and Scott Barnhorst.
Charles Pinkalla scored the win in the R.A. Adams Ent  / Advance Auto Parts Street Stock A-main. Shawn Kalsto survived a frightening first lap wreck that involved several cars. From there on the show went green with Dustin Richards leading with Pinkalla providing constant pressure. A very good race transpirwed throughout the field with the Pinkalla eventually taking the top spot. Richards would come home second over Pat Rossman, Ronnie Mink, and Vince Heywood. Rossman and Jim Vandevere took heat wins.
Erik Grosch took the 4 cyl main in his Pro car, edging Bandit winner Jason Jones in a thrilling duel. A nice field of 4’s were on hand

as this class seems to be heading in the right direction. Neils Kruse, and Scott Redden took second and third in the Massive Speed Pro class, while Shawn Kasten and Sueter Bennet rounded out the top 3 in the Hawg Heaven Bandit class.
