Only teams that have competed in a regular (not a series special) night of racing at Wilmot Raceway in 2012 will be eligible to compete on Championship Night, September 15th. That goes for all regular Wilmot classes competing (Mods, Streets, & 4’s). Thus cars must have earned Wilmot track points prior. This is simply based on fairness to those who have supported the raceway in 2012, plus we had to add a division to Championship Night because of last week’s partial postponement. Additionally (other than the F4 classes), last week was considered a complete show.

The Street Stock payout from last week will be made at pill draw this Saturday. The cars that would have started the A-main will receive equal pay (A-main purse divided equally among 20 scheduled starters) and equal points. The B-main cars will receive their B-main pay & points, and heat race points earned will count. Being that payout is taking place, there are no pit pass or ticket refunds.

The F4 cars lost their Championship A-main to rain, thus they need to bring back last weeks wristbands, and they (not to exceed 3 pit passes per car based on those cars that were at the track on 9/8) will exchange their bands at no additional cost and they will run their Championship A-main, (last weeks heat points do count), though exact details on F4 A-main format and eligibility will be announced shortly. Stay Tuned…..

Hotly contested titles are on the line, plus Late Models & some classic Vintage Stocks will be creating action-a-plenty this Saturday night, Sept. 15th!
