(Wilmot, Wisconsin, Saturday, May 20, 2017)–Heavy morning rains forced Wilmot Raceway to cancel the planned 6th Annual Challenge between the Bumper to Bumper Interstates Racing Association (IRA) and the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions which was scheduled for Saturday, May 20 featuring three-time NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart.
Wilmot Raceway officials and representatives from the two traveling series are working on rescheduling the event with hopes to announce details in the near future.
Next up for the one-third mile clay oval facility located on the Kenosha County Fairgrounds is the Memorial Day Weekend Spectacular featuring WingLess Sprints, Wisconsin-Illinois Mini-Sprints, modifieds, street stocks and Bandit 4-cylinder stock cars on Saturday, May 27.
Grandstands open at 5:00 p.m. with racing slated for 6:45 p.m. Grandstand admission is $12.00 for ages 12 and older; $5.00 for ages 7-11 with children ages 6 and under admitted free.
