This Saturday, September 8th is Championship Night for four of the core classes at Wilmot Raceway. And based on the current point standings, there is plenty on the line making this event extremely important to many teams regarding their championship aspirations. This is definitely a MUST SEE event. In addition to the championship races in our Modified, Mini Sprint, Street Stock, and Bandit divisions, a AutoMeter Wisconsin WingLESS Sprint Series (non-point) race has been added to create an even bigger evening. This is a night local race fans will not want to miss!

In the Modified ranks, Nick Simons holds a 19 point lead over the defending Wilmot Raceway Modified Champion, who just happens to be his brother, Mike Simons. Steve Mueller currently holds 3rd place and has a narrow 4 point lead over 4th place Al Atkinson.

In the Mini Sprints, Mark Heinert comes into the night with a 23 point margin over Ion Stear. Several other positions within the top 10 point standings are up for grabs

The Street Stocks have the tightest battle of them all, and each time the cars hit the track Saturday, whether it be qualifying, a heat race, or the main event will be of extreme importance as Mark Baker holds just a 2 point lead over Cody Erickson, and just 20 markers over 3rd place Dustin Richards.

The Bandit class shows Tony Barron coming to the big Sept 8th event as the leader, with points runnerup Scott Quarnstrom just 17 points back. You can cut the drama with a knife.

Throw a AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS race on top of all that, and WOW what a big night at Wilmot Raceway this Saturday! Support local racing, and remember, Race Wisconsibly!
