WINTER STORM FORECAST CANCELLS APRIL 27 OPENER

(Wilmot, Wis., Friday, April 26, 2019)–Despite a great showing for a final practice session at Wilmot Raceway on Friday, April 26, an impending winter storm warning wintry forecast expected to hit the Kenosha County Fairgrounds facility forced officials to cancel the planned Saturday, April 27 season opener. Due to wintry forecast scheduled Wilmot Raceway season opener Saturday, April 27 has been cancelled. Season opener will now be Saturday, May 4 featuring Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association (IRA) Outlaw Sprints making the first appearance of their 52nd season at their original home track.
