Vintage Modifieds Off June 30 Program

The organizers of the vintage modifieds group notified Wilmot Raceway they will not be bringing a group to the Saturday, June 30 program. Badger midgets make their first of two 2018 appearances at the 1/3-mile clay oval with modifieds, street stocks and Bandit 4-Cylinder Stock Cars on the program. Grandstands open at 5:00 p.m. with on track activity at 6:00 and racing to follow.

    Cottage Grove’s Doug Schenck weathered a series of cautions to capture his first 20-lap AutoMeter Wisconsin WingLess Sprint Feature of the season highlighting the Wm. M. WILMOT RACEWAY AT KUNES CAR SHOW SUNDAY, JUNE 10

Wilmot Raceway is represented at 20th Annual Nostalgia Car Show today, Sunday, June 10 at Kunes Country Stateline Superstore, Route 173, Antioch. The free show is from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. featuring free food, beverages, entertainment. Proceeds benefit Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Several Wilmot Raceway drivers are participating displaying their cars and visiting with show attendees.

Dennis Carlton, past Wilmot Raceway street stock champion, passed away Saturday, June 2.  Dennis recently took over Don’s Garage in Trevor, longtime sponsor or Wilmot Raceway including this season. Marks Weathers Delay For First World of Outlaw Sprints Victory

Brent Marks of Meyerstown, PA waited through a rain delay to score his first ever World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Series victory in impressive fashion in the Badger 40 at Wilmot Raceway Saturday, June 2.
