TRAVELING IRA NEXT AFTER RAINOUT

WILMOT RACEWAY BY MICHAEL H. BABICZ SATURDAY, MAY 30, 2015 (Wilmot, Wisconsin, Saturday, May 30, 2015)–The traveling Interstates Racing Association (IRA) Outlaw Sprint Car Series invades Wilmot (WI) Raceway on Saturday, June 6 for the Raymond Neeve Memorial.     The scheduled race program for the one-third mile clay oval located on the Kenosha County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 30 was cancelled due to rain.     Phillip Mock of Pleasant Prairie has won a pair of non-IRA sanctioned winged outlaw sprint car features at Wilmot thus far in 2015.     Beaver Dam’s Jeremy Schultz captured the first IRA feature on May 23.     Following one

None of the early race leaders were able to take home the checkered flag victories in feature events on Saturday, May 9 at Wilmot(Wis.) Raceway. (Wilmot, Wis., Saturday, May 2, 2015)–Todd Lehr of Twin Lakes made history at Wilmot Raceway on the 2015 opening night Saturday, May 2 as he scored the feature victory in the first ever regular season events for non-winged sprint cars. Pleasant Prairie’s Phillip Mock captured an emotional 25-lap winged 410 sprint car feature. TECH & REGISTRATION

We are going to open the pit gate at 2:30 Saturday May 2nd to allow a little extra tech & registration time for those who haven’t done so yet. Driver’s meetings will be split, the 3 Sprint classes will have theirs at 5:15, and the Mods/Streets/4’s at 5:30. All cars need to be safety teched prior to competition, thus before driver’s meeting.
